Traditionally steak is placed on a small styrofoam tray, wrapped in plastic and a small sticker placed on top. I wanted to move away from that completely and bring the farm aspect back to the packaging. I chose Navy blue plastic trays to upscale the packaging, as well contrast against the red of the meat. I designed a belly band so the consumer can move it and check the quality of the meat. I found old southern wallpaper, and printed on off white butcher paper. I stuck to the sticker aspect but increased the size and placed on top of the belly band to have the pattern to bleed through.
