HeySL
Summer Stark

HeySL is an experimental typeface of three different variations to the traditional American Sign Language alphabet. Most ASL alphabets are all the same type of depiction – hyper-detailed hands that are quite knuckle-heavy and visually unappealing. My goal was to provide three unique forms of the ASL alphabet that those who rely on ASL can use to represent and express themselves than just the singular current style that is available. In the same way that type comes in many different styles and variations, I believe the ASL alphabet should also be able to be showcased in various styles.
